You can use Limiters to narrow the focus of your search for peer review articles, full text online, publication date, etc., so that the information retrieved from the the Library Search or the database you are searching is limited according to the values you select. For further information, please see the Finding Resources Library GuideEvaluating Information Library Guide and Bachelor of Paramedicine Library Guide - Scholarly Journals & Peer Review Process.

Library Search:

After you launch your search, look on the left side of your search results screen for the list of limiters. Click 'Peer Reviewed' to see only peer reviewed journals.

UlrichsWeb

UlrichsWeb is the authoritative source to go to if you want to find out if a journal is peer reviewed or not.
Click on the link above or find UlrichsWeb under 'U' on the Library's A-Z Databases page.
Once you have accessed UlrichsWeb, type in your journal title.  Select the journal title to view  the 'Basic Description' . One of the categories in the 'Basic Description' is Refereed: Yes or No. In this context Refereed is the same as Peer Reviewed.
